DER INTEGRATION
Ders Management and Monitoring System (DMMS)
What is Der Integration?
DER Integration (Distributed Energy Resources Integration) refers to the process of connecting, controlling, and managing decentralized power sources such as solar rooftop systems, energy storage units, wind turbines, and electric vehicles (EVs), so that they can operate efficiently alongside the main power grid.
Integrating DERs enhances the stability and flexibility of the power system, reduces reliance on fossil fuels, and supports the transition toward clean energy and future carbon neutrality goals.

Objectives

To study, analyze, and gather data on VSPP, IPU, IPS, and TPA

To develop procedures and systems for improving data quality and format to ensure accuracy and readiness for processing

To provide software for managing renewable energy power producers (DERs Management) in the form of a web application, enabling related activities with electricity producers to be carried out electronically and online

To establish a centralized DERs database management system with standardized formats

To implement a document storage system, data entry system, data validation system, and reporting system—available in monthly, quarterly, and yearly formats—as well as a dashboard and data visualization tools, all operating through a web-based application

To integrate data (Data Integration) between internal and external PEA units in accordance with the Data Governance policy and the Provincial Electricity Authority's guidelines (2019)
