RE Forecast

The Renewable Energy Forecast (RE Forecast) is a cornerstone in developing a smarter power system. It plays a crucial role in power plant operation planning and grid utilization, especially in preparation for the increasing number of renewable energy power plants connecting to the power grid in the future. This growth significantly impacts the control and maintenance of the balance between electricity supply and demand.
The forecasting system enhances the dependability of renewable energy generation, making it more reliable. It also supports more effective power grid management, aligning with the country’s renewable energy production targets. Furthermore, the RE Forecast is consistent with the national energy reform plan, particularly in the development of the National Energy Information Center.
