DATA ANALYTICS

The Power Transformers Monitoring System (PTMS) is a tool for assessing the condition and Health Index of power transformers. The accompanying Transformer Health Management System Software Set (THMS-SS) includes essential features like offline and online monitoring, diagnostic tools, trending, and expert systems. According to installation progress, PEA has plans to install 800 units of the PTMS. Currently, 66 units have been commissioned, and an additional 25 units are scheduled to be installed by 2026.

Function in Project

• Provide a comprehensive overview of asset management across the entire asset lifecycle—from acquisition, installation, and operation to maintenance and decommissioning
• Enable effective maintenance planning to prevent future equipment failures
• Support Condition-Based Risk Management (CBRM) for all types of electrical assets
• Ensure system compatibility and integration with other existing systems currently in use by the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA)
