Bangkok, September 9, 2025 – The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has been recognized with the Runner-Up Award in Advanced Metering Infrastructure for C&I Customers (AMI for C&I) at the Power Energy Awards, held in conjunction with Enlit Asia 2025 at the Grand Hall, BITEC Bangna.
During the event, Mr. Pongsakorn Yuthakovit, PEA Deputy Governor, received a certificate of recognition as a principal supporter of Enlit Asia 2025. Representing PEA at the award ceremony, Mr. Panthong Thinsatit, PEA Assistant Governor, accepted the prestigious recognition on behalf of the organization.
PEA has installed AMI Smart Meters for Commercial and Industrial Customers to enhance its capability in managing electricity consumption data of these users in line with PEA’s Smart Grid plan. The project also enables Commercial and Industrial Customers to access their consumption data in order to manage electricity usage with the highest efficiency.
