As the Election Commission had annouced the schedule for Thailand General Election Day on March 24, 2019 from 8.00 am. to 5 pm.
Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), the power utility which has responsible to supply electricity for 74 provinces in Thailand, had already prepared several countermeasures in order to assist an upcoming election such as
- Estabish Power System Coordination Administrative Center at PEA's HQ and 12 Regional Administrative Offices all over the country.
- Setting up a main and backup Power Supply Circuits for importance load.
- Provision of over 920 Diesel Generators and Energency Lights for Vote Counting Centers at the level of District, Ward and Province.
- Setting up Emergency Response Plan, integrated with others public organisations, to resolve the Power Outages. All necessary tools, equipment, vehical, spare parts, communication devices including personnel had been prepared and promptly services.
